The Institution is spread over a picturesque area of 12 acres of land. The land is located in the Thrikkakara North Village, Kalamassery Municipality and Kanayannur Taluk of Ernakulam District in the State of Kerala.
Its borders are Cochin University of Science & Technology at its West, St. Paul’s Arts and Science College at its north, St. Joseph’s School at its south and St. John of God Church at its east. The atmosphere is conducive to calm and peaceful academic pursuit. The location is well connected to the city by public transport. Apart from this, the college operates its own fleet of buses for the convenience of students.
Albertian Institute of Science and Technology (AISAT) – Technical Campus, School of Engineering (Archbishop Angel Mary Nagar, Cochin University P.O., Kalamassery, Kochi – 682022, Kerala, India) is a Roman Catholic Latin Christian Minority Institution initiated by Archdiocese of Verapoly, which has a track record of centuries serving in the field of Education.
The Archdiocese of Verapoly lies in the revenue district of Ernakulam, Kerala with its Headquarters at Marine Drive in Kochi city. The Archdiocese of Verapoly, which was originally known as Vicariate of Malabar, has its origin dating back to 1657. Spanning over four centuries, education was always the focal point of the rich legacy of service of the Archdiocese. The Archdiocese, through a number of renowned educational institutions and training centres, has always been contributing significantly to the realm of knowledge and shaping well-informed generations.

The college offers conveyance facility to the students at economical rates. The bus route includes important points of City and Suburbs. Experienced drivers are engaged in the buses and parents can be assured that their wards are provided with transportation facility in a safe and secure environment.
The College has a fully equipped stationery centre offering all types of writing materials that students might need for their studies. This store is intended to cater to each and every need of students and the staff, within the campus.
Our College has dedicated Internet Leased lines which are connected to more than hundred terminals throughout the campus. The well-equipped internet lab provides high speed connectivity so that the student can surf the net for their curriculum and co-curriculum needs. Besides, ours is a WiFi campus.
Access to e-books, e-journals, study materials, previous question papers, teaching schedules etc. is also provided through the college Local Area Network. Faculties are encouraged to post lectures, notes and presentation documents on the college’s network. This helps the students to keep themselves updated with the latest technologies and also to prepare papers to be presented at various symposiums and seminars.
The college has a state-of-the-art air conditioned seminar hall, with well-appointed multimedia system, which will be extensively used for hosting seminars, Project presentations, and other functions. The seminar hall is aesthetically designed with Audio Video amenities. It can accommodate 120 persons and interactive sessions are taken up by the management, faculty, and Industries for staff & students.
The language laboratory is an audio-visual installation to be used as an aid in modern language teaching. The college has installed the latest software and the lab is a seamless integration of information technology techniques with proven language teaching methodologies and power-packed with an array of comprehensive study materials. The Language Lab provides use of computers, language software and digital presentation resources to the Albertians with priority given to those students enrolled in language courses and those faculty teaching language courses.
Separate hostel facilities are provided for both boys and girls. The girls are accommodated in “Ave Maria-Hostel” which is taken care by the Religious Sisters and the boys are accommodated in the “Albertian Men’s Hostel”. Both are in the walking distance.
A canteen functions within the premises of the college to serve hygienically prepared food to the staff and students at highly subsidized rates with highest quality. It has spacious and properly maintained rooms and kitchen. Our college canteen is blessed with family atmosphere, with a variety of delicacies, touched by a home-made flavour, cooked to perfection and served with a great courtesy. Refreshments are available at the college canteen at affordable rates. Adequate seating facilities are provided to accommodate students and staff even during peak time.
The college canteen also caters food to the various functions held in colleges such as seminars, inaugural functions, conferences etc. Canteen will be opened from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM on all working days.
Ideal venue for conferences and meetings with the staff and guests: It is a fully air conditioned room with elegant wooden paneling which can incorporate Audio-visual equipment upon need. The Board Room is perfect for a small independent meeting or as a breakout room from a larger plenary session.
There is a small chapel in the campus for those who seek silence and contemplation in the midst of manifold activities. It reminds all of the divine presence permeating the whole universe. The Holy Eucharist is celebrated here on every first Friday of the month at 12.00 pm.
Sports help to develop certain skills based on teamwork and fellowship. They teach young people how to set goals and persevere through hardships to achieve those goals. Besides, healthy body and healthy mind go together. Realizing this fact the college has set up a playground ideal for football. A badminton court is also ready. Some more sports facilities are in the pipeline.
Welcome to the Library and Information Division of AISAT. It was established in the year 2011, serves as a knowledge hub containing resources not only in the form of print but also in e-resources and provide students with access to a vast repository of resources, including books and Journals both print and online. College library is located in a spacious hall of the main building, A-block for all students and staff members and have to register at library for utilizing the facility. The Library reading space can accommodate more than 150 students. . Library functions such as Acquisition, Circulation, and Cataloguing have been automated using open source software- KOHA. The working hour is from 8.30 am to 5.30 pm, on all working days.
Collection of more than 9500 volumes of textbooks and reference books in over 1800 titles in all branches of engineering, science, technology, management and general studies are available. The titles are categorized into subject wise and branch wise. Open access system is followed in the library. Library is following the DDC (Dewey decimal classification) system for organizing the library resources.
Placement & Training (P & T) Cell offer support to budding technocrats for effective placements. The Cell is always making every effort to invite companies / organisations for placements to our students.
The P & T Celll of AISAT make Engineering Students learn the art of employability through short term courses that focuses on bridging the gap that exists between the curriculum and Industry. The Cell offers practical training program for Engineering Undergraduate students to provide necessary knowledge-base and practical skills required by the organisations, along with improving the Soft Skills of the students.
The cell is well equipped with excellent infrastructure to support each and every stage of placement processes.
The cell is proactively involved in the vocational programmes including personality development, technical seminars and training for the students starting from the first year, apart from organising various discussions with filed experts for the betterment of the knowledge of the students. The college has also taken the initiative to form a consortium of placement officers of various engineering colleges and industries in the state
