Course offered:
Master of Management Studies (MMS) (University of Mumbai Affiliated):
Candidate should be a Graduate with minimum three years degree in any Faculty recognized by the Association of Indian Universities, with a minimum of 50% in aggregate (45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved categories of Maharashtra State only) and candidate should have appeared for Common Management Entrance Test (CMAT) along with GD/PI conducted by the competent Authority of the Maharashtra State.

Research Conferences:
In the past few years, the institute is emerging as a leader in the field of management education. Apart from an effective teaching methodology, the institute also organizes Seminars, Research Conferences and Management Festival to fulfill its vision.
The Research cell at Guru Nanak Institute of Management Studies provides a platform for furthering research activities in all areas of Management studies with the clear objective to produce a regular stream of state-of-the-art multi-disciplinary research.
The Institute’s faculty, staff and students have participated in numerous National and International conferences and have several papers published and presented.
The students have been motivated to undertake research work. They have won prizes at various conferences as well.

A Farewell Programme of MMS & PG Batch 2013-15 was organized on Sunday 26th April, 2015.
The inaugural address was given by the Director, followed by experience sharing by the respective class representatives.
This was followed by a host of awards given away which included Best Research Project Awards across Specializations, Best Student Volunteer Award, Placement Committee Students Felicitation and Best Student Awards across Specializations.
The evening concluded with a DJ jam session for the students followed by dinner.
This event left happy and memorable memories from the past two years to ponder upon.

Guest Lecture for HR Students:
A Guest Lecture was arranged on the topic of, “HR Planning – A Comparative Analysis of Public Sector & Private Sector” for the MMS HR Sem-II and MHRDM Sem-IV students on Sunday, 22nd March 2015.
Ms. Ridhima Parab (Founder – STEER HRD Solutions) and Mr. Chitendra Shetty (Chief Instructor – Basic Training Centre, Carriage Workshop, Central Railway, Matunga & Alumnus of GNIMS MHRDM 2010-2013 Batch) were the guest speakers. The speakers covered the following topics:
1. Practical Aspects of HR Planning with respect to the Corporate sector and SME’s by Ms. Ridhima Parab.
2. Application of HR Planning with respect to the Indian Railways by Mr. Chitendra Shetty
Both the sessions were interactive where in the students were encouraged to ask lot of questions. Most of the students in the feedback wrote that more such sessions should be organized.

Guru Nanak Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai organized the 5th National Research Conference on “Library: a Temple of Learning & Knowledge House Saturday 1st February 2014
According to fifth Law of Library Science ‘Library is a growing organism’. As a result of this many libraries have over the years grown into large organizations. Libraries have also been influenced by the rapid advances in information technology. Application of information technology has made it possible for these to expand their sphere of activities. Description are as simple and direct as could be possible have been given. The purpose of this conference would be well served if the interest, confidence, communication and dedication of the professional friends and colleagues is encouraged and they are motivated to work as a team without losing their individuality and respecting individual difference of the team members.
All classrooms on the campus are air-conditioned and are equipped with various teaching aids such as OHP, LCD, sound system and LAN.

Computer lab:
Higher education relies a lot on I.T. infrastructural resources.
GNIMS has been consciously and consistently building its I.T. infrastructure since its inception. We have embraced technology to a great extent. Some of the highlights are as mentioned below:

Seminar Hall:
The Institute has a well-furnished and air-conditioned seminar hall. It is used for various seminars, guest lectures, conferences and workshops.

GNIMS Library will be a true learning resources centre, which will provide latest information and other learning aids on all topics related to management as required. GNIMS Library has linkages with other Libraries and corporate training centers.
