The Institute of Engineering & Technology Bhaddal , Ropar was established in July 1998 by the Kandi Friends Educational Trust under the dynamic leadership of great visionary Revered Er.Guracharan Singh Ji. The Technical Campus offers Bachelor’s Degree courses in 6 disciplines of Engineering, Architecture, Computer Applications and Business Administration and Postgraduate’s Degree in 2 disciplines of Engineering, Computer Applications and Business Administration. All the Programs of the Technical Campus have been approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), Council of Architecture New Delhi, Govt. of Punjab and Affiliated to PTU, Jalandhar. The Campus is spread over an area of 50 acres in a lush green pollution free environment. The Campus has Six complete academic blocks, Workshops, Central computerized Library with air-conditioned reading room, 16 Mbps leased line internet connectivity, Canteen, Hostels with Mess Facility (separately for boys and girls), Faculty apartments, Guest house Medical Centre, Computer Centre, Reprographic Centre and Wi-Fi Campus and Hostels.

To cater to the academic & intellectual needs of the Faculty & Students, a Central Library is in existence in C Block apart from the separate libraries of different departments as well as IMS and CoA. The Central Library contains over 27,090 books besides national, international & E-journals. Encyclopedias, handbooks, research proceedings etc. are also available. The library subscribes 68 periodicals of Indian & foreign origin. Central Library operates Welfare Book Bank essentially to meet the need of economically weaker students who can get text books issued for the whole semester. The Book Bank scheme has been created to help all the students to get the text book of each subject issued on nominal charges. The Institute maintains institutional membership of British Council Library in Chandigarh. The institute subscribes INDEST-AICTE online journals for quality education & research. These resources cover more than 1,260,86 documents from 12,000 publications, including 250 journals, transactions, Magazines , conference proceedings. Photostat facility is also available for the benefit of the users: the library remains open till late hours even on holidays.
Laboratories & Workshops:
To supplement theoretical knowledge with practical skills, well-equipped laboratories with calibrated and sophisticated equipment conforming to the latest technologies trends and university requirements have set up. All the assistance with curriculum is provided in practical training’s also.
IET bhaddal campus, a completely self-contained universe includes separate hostel & mess facilities for male and female students. Our aim is to provide a home away from home environment for students with particular emphasis nutritious meals, hygenic and pleasant living condition. Apart from students, the college has full time hostel management staff. About 800 students live in the hostels of the institute. The hostels provide a home away from their homes and helps in developing a healthy and cordial relationship among the residents. The management ensures hygienic and pleasant living condition with particular emphasis on nutritious meals. Ragging is strictly prohibited on the campus.
The burden of private transportation is eliminated for students and staff as they are serviced daily by more than 25 buses form Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Mohali, Nangal, Panchkula, Patiala and Ropar.

The backbone of Bhaddal Campus network is based on gigabit fibre optic technology. All the Departmental LANs are connected to the gigabit fibre optic backbone as separate VLANs.
ATM, STD & Post Office:
The HDFC Roopnagar operates extension counter on the campus to provide banking facility to the students and the staff, HDFC also provides 24 hour ATM service in the campus. Post Office and STD facilities are also available on the campus.
Acknowledging the importance of sports in the personal and professional growth of a student, Bhaddal Institutes provides an excellent sports infrastructure for games like basketball, volleyball, badminton, soccer, hockey and cricket etc.
It is privileged to have an indoor gymnasium for men maintained by a fitness expert, and a fitness centre for women in the girls hostel supervised by a trained female sports teacher.
The institute maintains a medical centre that is manned round the clock by qualified residential medical staff located at the center of the Campus. It provides medical facilities for common ailments. Complicated cases are referred for treatment to the District Hospital. The centre is geared to cater to the basic medical needs and first-aid in an emergency situation.
24×7 Power & Water Supply:
The institute gets power supply from an independent feeder through an 11 KV Transmission voltage.This is stepped down through a 500 KVA transformer in the sub-station maintained by the institute. Two D.G. sets of 125 KVA capacity each and one of 250 KVA capacity, are always kept in standby mode to ensure uninterrupted supply of power.
The Institute has excellent canteen which provides meals and snacks to staff and students.
