Overview:
KIPM-College of Management have been established under the aegis of Ashutosh Shiksha Evam Sewa Sansthan in the benevolent guidance and leadership of Mr. R. D. Singh (President of the Society), to provide quality education to the students of management.
The Promoters are driven by an objective that our students need to be highly accomplished, enterprising and committed citizens so that they deliver the best values. In order to achieve such an objective, we follow well-designed and professionally formulated way of doing things supported by proficient and experienced teachers, a set of adequate infrastructure, and good ambience. The Institute is ISO 9001:2008 QMS Certified for all of its courses.
The Location
The Institute is located in an excellent high greens surroundings at GIDA, Gorakhpur– the land of promise and plenty; just 12 kms away from the main city on NH.28- Gorakhpur-Lucknow Highway. The serene, peaceful, pollution free, sylvan environment is quite conducive to academic pursuits.
Academic Programmes:
M.B.A.:
Management is both art and science. May it be selling or buying, market or customer, man or machine, money or material, products or services, process or operations etc. it is the art of making these more effective. The science is in how you do that.
The science of management makes you to learn this iterative process. When something is out of sync, you need to fix a plan, organize the resources to make it work, control the people who will make it happen, and continue to monitor the effect of the change, as desired.

Career in Management:
From research & development to manufacturing to service, all sectors of business and industry are open to employ you as a manager. Rapid expansion of industries in India has opened new vistas for excellent opportunities of careers in management. New Economic Policy of liberalization and decontrols has increased the demand for managerial personnel in the corporate sector. Advent of multinational companies is further intensifying the quest of the industrial sector in all fields of management like finance, production, marketing, personnel and administration.

Library:
The fundamental pedagogical tool even today remain in books. The epicenter of in-depth research & reference, the institute libraries are well-stocked, computerised & serve as primary resource centers The collection of over 15,000 volumes of books, references, textbooks, periodicals and journals-both national & international pertaining to pharmacy & allied subjects is constantly enriched with references beyond those prescribed in the syllabus.
The library subscribes to various national & international journals in the print format besides providing access to electronic database through DELNET. It is also being developed into a digital library with network facility i.e. an integrated Knowledge Resource Center.
The library staff and faculty co-coordinator are always there to assist you.

Student Activities:
Beyond the Classroom
Theory and practice go concurrently; hence, the Institute strives to achieve a good balance between academics and extra-curricular activities. The students utilize their energy for diverse activities such as organizing seminars and student’s functions, publishing in-house magazines, organizing guest lectures and participating in inter and intra school competitions.
Activity Clubs
To enhance the creativity of students, different activity clubs like Dance & Music Club, Fine Arts Club, Photography Club, Drama/Debate Club, Literary Club and Social Service Club provide a platofrm to the students to develop and display their cultural and literary talents.

Counseling Sessions:
A group of 15 students are counseled and guided by a faculty member for the entire duration of the course. The counselor regularly corresponds with the parents appraising the progress of their wards. Easy access to the faculty is the norm.

Faculty is available for chamber consultation, where individual student goes beyond the classroom teaching and understands the concepts at his/her own learning pace.

Induction Programme:
MBA and Pharmacy are a multi-disciplinary, corss-functional programmes. To orient the students according to the academic need of these rigorous programmes, the Institute organizes one week long inducation programme for the new entrants.
Eminent academicians from IIMs and other prominent management institutions, and industry leaders from reputed corporations, share their experiences for developing the learning capacity of the students.

Personality Development:
Focusing on the need of developing professionals with well-groomed personality, corporate trainers specialized in personality development are engaged by the Institute. The students are trained in body language, resume writing, public speaking, interview and presentation skills. The Institute provides soft skill modules for the overall personality development of the students, enhancing their career prospects.

Workshops:
The Institute organizes workshops for soft skill development like presentations, group discussions, interview skills etc.

Industry Visits:
Students periodically visit business establishments to gain a firsthand knowledge of the working of various business organizations; senior executives of the organization being visited provide valuable insights into the working of the corporate.

Personality Development Programme:
The thing which is presented well is taken well. The same principle gets applied in today’s professionals world also. An individual dressed well, with good communication skills be able to present himself/herself in a very impressive manner infront of the corporate world thus increasing his/her chances of getting a good image in the minds of the recruiters. Thus apart from the academic pursuits of the students special care is being taken for the all round development and character building through co curricular and extra curricular activities. PDPs are organized on regular basis for complete intellectual, emotional & social development of the students to arm them to face the professional challenges of corporate life and life’s challenges. These programmes are conducted by professionals from reputed institute like TATA CMC, Reliance LEAP, CADD Centre to equip the students with basic skills in terms of personality inputs and technical skills required by corporate recruiters during campus placement.

Classrooms:
Spacious classrooms are essential to support a sound process of teaching and learning, and to provide a conducive atmosphere for dynamic and focused lectures.
The classrooms have been augmented with integrated audio-visual teaching aids, computer terminals with internet, LCDs, OHPs, slide-projectors and public address system. The step-pattern design creates a congenial atmosphere for long hours of learning and a proper teacher-students interaction.

Computer Centre:
The Institute believes in the use of information technology in all the spheres of its activities in line with current trends. To facilitate this, the computer labs are equipped with the latest Pentium PCs, and software & a state-of-art Local Area Network (LAN), providing multi-user environment on Windows platform to meet both present and future needs. The Institute provides the computer lab facilities with 1:1 computer-student ratio.

The campus is Wi-Fi enabled to help students access the Internet on a 24×7 basis.
The students are connected to the internet through a high-speed broadband connection that allows for seamless and uninterrupted connectivity to the World Wide Web. Internet and Intranet enable on-line interactions between faculty and students.

Language Lab:
Effective communication is the most sought after skill in todays’ corporate world. The language lab is equipped with latest technology—software for digital multimedia language learning. The lab has 30 terminals with one server. The instructor can interact with all the thirty students individually and collectively via the server. The purpose of the lab is to encourage the active involvement of students in optimum improvement of their English language and communication.

Conference Hall:
The Conference rooms – a common ground for student-industry interface — are equipped with advanced presentation tools, such as DLP multimedia projectors, lap top notebook computers, electronic copy boards, OHP projectors, internet and intranet connectivity that enable world class corporate presentations. Through corporate presentation students have a chance to interact with various corporate heads, academic gurus, and enterprise leaders.
Seminar Halls:
Two seminar halls with 120 seating capacity each, are well-equipped with all modern audio-visual aids to provide quality ambience for different academic events.

Tutorial Rooms:
Tutorial rooms proved a perfect setting for students to master team work skills through brain-storming sessions, problem solving exercises, and group discussions etc.
Medical Facility:
All students are covered by a comprehensive Medical Insurance to meet any exigency. KIPM provides free medical aid to the students in the campus round the clock, and has tie-ups with hospitals to take care of emergencies.
Sports Facilities:
The industry today seeks action oriented leaders who are healthy enough to work for long hours with ease. KIPM has designed sports as well as recreational activities to ensure that students become healthy and active. Our students enjoy sports such as Chess, Volley ball, Pool, Carom, Badminton, TT, Chess, Gym, Chinese chequer.
Cafeteria:
The cafe serves for those endless cups of coffee, conversations with buddies, and of course the good grub meals and snacks to students, staff and faculty, and functions at a very affordable rate.
