With the nobel cause of imparting high quality internation standard education and to expand the horizons of knowledge for the students from Junagadh and nearby areas, Shri Vivek Bharti Trust established NOBLE GROUP OF INSTITUIONS in academic year 2007-08. Approved by AICTE & PCI, Affiliated with Gujarat Technological University – Ahmedabad, NGI is well-known as one of the largest integrated technical and professional education campus.
The world of civil engineering is a world of creating things that others say can’t be created, making the structures that define our modern world. The discipline has linkages with other fields like transportation, urban design, water resources, environment and coastal araas. The branch provides learning opportunities in the combination fields of physics and science. The modern technical laboratories having state of the art machineries like Total Station and Universal Testing Machine facilitates and practical field visits provide in-house practical exposure to the students.
Department of Mechanical Engineering offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in various facets of Mechanical Engineering. We had a team of highly qualified, experienced, matured and dedicated faculty members who are committed to carve a name in the top echelons of the academic & professional world.
The Department has laboratory and workshop facilities with state-of-the-art equipment to carry out research in all areas related to Mechanical Engineering.
The aim of electrical engineering is to devlop engineers who are critical, original and independent thinkers along with the strong foundation in contemporary electrical engineering, basic science, mathematics, computing and communication. To prepare the students with competencies required by the industry, the department is equipped with state of the art laboratories with high tech machines like Elements of Electrical Engineering, Electrical Machines, Electrical and Electronics Measurement, Industrial Instrumentation, power System Protection, Micro Processor And Controller, Power Electronics.
The Department of Computer science & Engineering was created in the Faculty of Engineering in the year 2008. The Department is currently running an eight Semester B.E. programme in Computer Engineering and a four semester M.E programme in Computer Engineering.
The Department of Information Technology was created in the Faculty of Engineering in the year 2008. The Department is currently running an eight Semester B.E. programme in Information Technology.
Electronics & Communication:
Electronics and Communication Engineering broadly deals with the systems related to acquiring, communicating, manipulating and analyzing information. EC has achieved fastest technology growth ever among all the disciplines of engineering and has registered its spread in almost all areas of application.
It is an engineering discipline where non-linear and active electrial components such as electron tubes, and semiconductor devices, especially transistors, diodes and integrated circuits, are utilized to design electronic circuits, devices and systems.
Humanities and Science:
Humanities and science Department focuses on the basic subjects like Mathematics, Physics Communication skills and Contributor Personality Development, these basic subjects are taught by highly qualified young energetic and dynamic faculties. Here all the faculties are well qualified and efficient. Mathematics is the sovereign of all the sciences and it provides the base to all technological branches. Physics is the subject of speculation as well as experiments. Concepts are better understood when lectures are combined with demonstration and questions that make students to reflect what will happen in an experiment and why. The students are taught unusual topics of physics according to GTU syllabus. Physics is offered to the first year students to make the base of various technical subjects’ concrete. In Communication Skills As per the new curriculum, the students are offered Communication Skills. Under this subject, the students are taught and made to practice various skills like effective listening, speaking reading and writing not only this but they learn how to involve in effective presentation.

The library of NGI is well established computerized library with vast collection of textbooks, reference books, technical and non-technical journals, magazines, CD and DVD of respective books for all courses offered in various departments. Library has a large collection of journals in printed version as well as soft copy. It has also subscribed the international and national online journals like INVENTI, IJSAT, J-GATE, DELNET etc. which one can assess and download through WI-FI enabled internet facility. Close Circuit Camera have been placed for avoiding misbehavior and nuisances for keeping a calm atmosphere. Library has been designed to motivate the students to utilize all resources available to students. It has separate area for reading, reference section, Internet enabled computers, book bank etc. for students and staff. It has value added cultural and spiritual books by renowned authors to build up the moral and inner strength of the students. In order to facilitate all the readers in selecting the reading materials of their interest, the assess space is open to all members. The reading materials have been classified and catalogued based on Dewey decimal classification. It works as a nerve center of the technical campus for keeping the knowledge of students and faculty members updated. The working hours from 8.15 am to 6.15 pm Monday to Friday and 10.30 am to 3.30 pm on Saturday.
Transportation a For the added convenience of its faculty and students, the Institute provided transportation facilities through own buses between the Institute Campus and Junagadh City. This transport service operates on a self financed, no profit – no loss basis on all working days, at fixed timings. The central points are determined by the transport committee constituted by the Governing Body
Breakfast & lunch facilities are provided through a centrally located canteen. The canteen serves tea, coffee, cold drinks, ice-cream, snacks, & different varieties of food throughout the day. Neatness of Canteen & Quality of Food is motto of canteen.
