SIT has been set-up under the aegis of St. Joan’s Education Society and has been recognised by All India Council of
Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. St. Joan’s Education Society is an ALL INDIA LEVEL registered society (Regd. No.
S/12318 dt. 30-01-1982) with its head office in New Delhi. The society was established in 1982 and the promoters (SNPTC)
have more than 73 years of experience in efficiently running educational colleges / institutions spread over various
states of India. The teaching centres have imparted coaching to lakhs of students in various competitive and academic examinations with selection into prominent sectors and organisations. Sachdeva New P. T. College has been acknowledged as the “LARGEST COACHING INSTITUTE” in the LIMCA BOOK OF RECORDS.
Our institute is affiliated to Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow and has been ranked 6th amongst Uttar Pradesh colleges for MBA courses for the academic year 2008-2009.Each campus at SIT is like a social dwelling in its own where you’ll find everything you need and with distinct department for placement purpose it is assured that everyone gets a placement as per the his/her credibility. SIT is centrally situated on National Highway No. 2 between Agra (The city of Taj) and Mathura (The birth place of Lord Krishna). Being close to Mc Donald, near the Highway plaza, Agra and Mathura, SIT makes a hotspot among the students.
St. Joan’s Education Society (All India) has derived its aspiration from St. Joan of Arc who loved freedom more than her life and sacrificed her life for the noble purpose of serving her country. The society is dedicated toward spreading the light of education and instilling the same values to serve the nation.
The society is an all India level registered society (Regd. under Societies Act vide Regd. No. S/12318 dated 30. 01. 82), with head office at New Delhi.
The Society was established in 1982 and the promoters of the society have a 70 year long experience of running educational institutions on a sound footing.Sachdeva institute of Technology offers a two year full time MBA program affiliated to Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow and approved by AICTE. The MBA program runs under the Aegis of Department of Business Administration and provides education which suits the need of the current environment. Innovative teaching methodology is adopted for imparting knowledge to the students so that they become true professionals to take on future job responsibilities effectively. Besides proficiency in their curriculum, the students are made confident with practical wisdom to be successful in life after the completion of their education. SIT is located midway between Delhi-Agra (25 km from either side) on Delhi-Agra National Highway No.2, Farah Distt. Mathura( U. P.). The Campus is well laid out with lush green lawns and aesthetically planned landscapes spread over 30 acres of land.
The educational complex consists of well furnished lecture halls, administrative blocks and state of the art computer
centre. The institute has separate hostel for boys and girls, faculty housing, library with adequate resources, sports
center and auditorium/seminar rooms for presentations.
1. The Library:
Library resources are the center to the successful completion of studies. Students and staff are entitled to use the services and books such as reference books, subject materials, digital publications and other electronic services,
including the library catalogue and full text electronic journals. Most of these are accessible both on and off campus.
The Collection of the library is constantly updated with books prescribed in the syllabus and also beyond the syllabus.
Students also receive support and guidance from subject experts who have specialized knowledge of information resources.

2. Computer Labs:
The department headed by Mr Pankaj Sharma Provides and maintains IT laboratories throughout the campus as well as personal computers areas in the learning resource centre (LRC’S). Each personal computer has a common desktop environment (CDE) with a core group of software applications. Additional subject specific software complements the core set of applications. Students access the CDE via their personal single Sign-in account. Detail of this is provided at the time of enrollment.
Our computer labs are equipped with:
a) Computers with the latest configuration and are updated as and when needed.
b) Intel Xeon based DNS Server, Internet Server, Oracle Server, Linux servers.
c) Dot, Matrix, Deskjet, Laser and Line printers/ scanners.
Various licensed software such as Microsoft Developer Network Pack, Turbo C/C++, DB2, Red Hat Linux, Macromedia Pack, Oracle, Benchmark kit, Pro-Engineer, Metlab, JAVA Sun Microsystems, Firewall and Anti viruses etc. are installed on the computers and are constantly updated with the latest versions as and when available.
High speed dedicated Wi-Fi internet connection.
Various labs of the department include computer programming, computer organization, Operating systems, DBMS, Artificial Intelligence, Digital Image Processing, Web technology, Computer Network, Advanced Computer Architecture, Computer Graphics, and Date Access Arrangement (DAA) etc.
3. Printing service:
Students as well as faculty have access to a high quality, high speed, laser printing service available at all our IT
laboratories and LRC areas.
4. Web Access:
Access to the internet and web browsing is provided via the desktop (CDE). The service includes access to an increasing number of web-based information resources CD ROM-based materials and links to external information sources. These internet services have been provided to aid and enhance student’s learning process. There are strict guidelines and legislation associated with the use of computers, particularly concerning connections to the internet.
5. Communication Lab:
Proficiency in English language is a pre-requisite for global employability. Our communication lab gives every possible opportunity to learn and practice English. Language learning software makes the learning process interesting and exciting for the students. Audio visual CD-ROM’s are available to enhance the learning process.
6. Laboratories & Workshops:
It is always important to put the gained knowledge into application. In order to facilitate the practical implementation of theoretical learning, our institution is well equipped with all the modern instruments and tools in various laboratories. The main labs in our campus are: Mechanical lab, Electronics lab, Applied Chemistry Lab, Computer lab, Graphics lab, Applied Physics lab and Communication lab.
7. Help and Information:
Tutorials and handouts on IT are available on a wide range. If there is a problem that requires personal assistance,
students can contact either the IT head or our help desk via telephone or mail.
8. Sports Centre:
“A healthy mind in a healthy body.”-Juvenal.
A healthy body is home to a healthy mind. Such a body is like a temple and the combination will produce results which will be a model of perfection. That is why we emphasise upon the importance of sports and extracurricular activities in a student’s life. For this purpose we have included sports as an active body at our campus. Facilities include tennis court, cricket pitches, football ground, volleyball court, basketball court, badminton court, gymnasium facilities for athletics and fitness training. Indulgence in sports instills the qualities such as cooperation, team work confidence among the participant which in turn infuses social skills in the participants. Thus, we ensure that the students when leave SIT will have an all rounded personality and is fit enough to emerge as a winner.
1. Hostel Facility: (Comfortable Stay):
The SIT campus has separate hostel facilities for boys and girls. The hostel is well-equipped with all the modern
facilities. The serene surroundings around the hostel give a feeling of home away from home.
2. Medical Centre:
Institute has appointed well qualified and experienced Doctors to take care of health problems of students and teachers round the clock
3. Transportation and Conveyance:
The institute has adequate transport facilities for the day scholars coming from Agra and Mathura. On weekends the
hostelers are also taken out for visits to nearby places of interest and shopping.
4. Banking Services:The institute takes care of the banking needs of the students, by helping them in getting their accounts opened in the nearby bank. The institute also intends to provide on-campus banking facilities to the student sand other staff members in the near future.
5. Railway Concession:
The Government has extended the facility of Railway concession to the students of the institution. It is supervised bythe administrative office in-charge.
6. The Mess and the Canteen:
Each hostel block has a separate mess facility. The mess is spacious for accommodating students comfortably. The mess is monitored by the committee of students headed by hostel superintendent and warden. Hostelers, Day-Scholars, Staff-Members and guests can avail of canteen facilities for 8. 00 am to 6 p. m. every day.
7. Stationary and General Store:
The store caters to the day to day requirements of items of daily use toiletries and stationery.
8. Reprographic and PCO/STD services:
Students can make use of the photocopying facilities available at the institute. Telephone services are available 24 ×7 to all students on payment at fixed rates.
Discipline and Good Conduct:
Apart from maintaining courteous behavior in and outside of the campus, the students must adhere to the following rules:Students are required to present themselves always in their proper uniform in the institute. They are required to be in the prescribed uniform in official functions of the institute and also outside of the Campus where they represent the institute.
100% attendance is essential in class session and co-curricular activities except for exigencies i. e. sickness and urgent personal work. Student having attendance below 75% will not be permitted to take the examination.
The students are required to keep the identity card duly signed by the Director/Registrar of the institute whether they are in the institute or outside. They are required to show it on demand. The students will not be allowed to enter the institute without their identity card.
Any attempt to damage the institute property including garden and lawn will be a punishable offense and will warrant expulsion. Ragging is strictly prohibited in and outside of the campus. The students, who are found committing such activities, will be punished or even may be rusticated from the institute.
Students should refrain from smoking and consumption of alcohol and drugs.
Students should not indulge in any activity which is detrimental to the interest and dignity of the institute.
Arsenals are strictly prohibited in the campus.
Life at SIT does not stop at academics only. For an all round development of a student’s personality, our institute provides opportunities to nourish student’s hidden talents. lt is for this purpose only that the institute organizes cultural programs and sports. The students also participate in different activities of the institute. The activities beyond their academics help them groom into better professionals. Sports tournaments of crickets, football, table-tennis etc are organized on regular basis, different out door and indoor sports facilities motivate students to develop team spirit, competitive spirit and group cohesiveness. SIT also organizes camps to give real life orientation to the students.
ROBOTICS :Keeping in mind the ultimate goal of making our students more employable and better geared up with all per-requisite tools for industrial application we at Sachdeva Institute of Technology have tied up with “Think ware”, Noida to train our students in ROBOTICS.
Robotics is a field of engineering that deals with design and application of robots and the use of computer for their manipulation and processing. Robots are used in Industries for speeding up the manufacturing process. They are also used in the field of nuclear science, Sea-exploration, Servicing of transmission electric Signals, designing of bio-medical equipments etc. A trained Robotics engineer can apply his mastery in diverse fields like modern warfare, surgery, nano-technology, space-exploration and several other areas.
