Vira Charitable Society (VCS), Dharamnagri was established in 1968. Vira Charitable Society is a renowned educational society devoted to the cause of spreading education in the region and has so far following institutions from Nursery to Post Graduate level, both for boys and girls.
The College was established in the year 1999 and is duly approved by the All India Council for Technical Education(AICTE) and affiliated to Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow. The first batch of the college was passed out in the year 2003 and till date 11 batches have been pass out. The vast campus of the College spreading over 10 acres of land in the heart of the city is complete with all infrastructures developed for imparting high level technical education and catering to the present needs of national and multinational industries. The Institute is famous as Vira College of Engineering since 1999. Now the Institution name has changed from the session 2013-14 in the fond memory of founder secretary Kunwar Satyavira ji. Now the new name of our Institute is “KUNWAR SATYAVIRA COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING & MANAGEMENT, BIJNOR”.

Admission to all courses is taken in accordance with the directives of Uttar Pradesh Technical University Lucknow, conducts State Entrance Exams-UPSEE every year in the month of April. Relative merit of the qualified candidates is decided on the rank in UPSEE. On the basis of merit and the choice of the candidates regarding branch of Engineering and the Institution, the list of students, admitted through counseling is received from SEE. Sometimes, if the seats remain vacant, direct admissions are also given vide Govt. of U.P. orders issued from time to time in this regard. In such cases applications are invited by the Institution directly.
A pass in 10+2 exams with PCM/PCB with a minimum of 50% marks as an aggregate from any recognized Board/University.

Students seeking for admission in M.B.A. must have a three-year graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized University with minimum percentage of marks as decided by the University. • Candidates appearing for the qualifying examination or those awaiting results are also eligible to apply. However, their candidature shall be subject to their clearing the qualifying examination.
Any graduation with minimum 50% (for General/OBC)and 45% (for SC/ST) aggregate marks from any recognized University.

Practical Training is a very important component of the curriculum meant for the students. As a part of the curriculum,arrangements are made for the students to undergo practical training during winter and summer vacations in Multinational/Private/Public Sector Undertakings/Government Department and the Laboratories of the Institute. As per the provision, the students belonging to various Divisions-Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering- undergo in practical training. Some of the prominent industrial organizations in which KSVCEM Students have completed Internships in various organizations.
Campus Recruitment Programme conducted by the Institute is a very vital activity for the young engineers aspiring for appropriate placement in Government Departments, Private/Public Sector Undertakings. A close interaction between the Institute and various company executives has created excellent placement record. The Students Job Co-ordinaters actively participate in organizing Campus Recruitment Programme. By sheer dint of hard work and dedication, the students of this Institute have reached top positions in the industries and academia. The Institute has an excellent record of assuring confirmed jobs in prestigious industrial organizations. On the basis of records available students belonging to the Divisions-Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering-who graduated in current year, almost all the students have secured firm jobs in Multinational companies, Private and Public Sector Undertakings and Government Departments with many students being offered multiple jobs.
