The success of Venus International College of Technology, promoted by G. P. Jain Charitable trust is attributed to the people associated with it, driven by the inspiration and support of its Chairman Shri Rishabh Jain. The college started functioning in the year 2009 under the MoU with Government of Gujarat at Bhoyan Rathod, Dist. Gandhinagar, with an intake of 60 students each in Mechanical, Computer, Electronics & Communication and Electrical Engineering, totalling to 240 students.
The key people in this initiative were eminent personalities in the field of technical education. The right people were identified both in academics and administration which paid rich dividends in shaping the foundation. Driven with the dream of setting up one of the best technical institutes, the college has expanded into many professional disciplines. Today the college is highly regarded by the aspiring students seeking to build up career in engineering.

Electronics and Communication Engineering:
Electronics and communication engineering course give enormous job opportunities in electronics and software companies. All electronic devices need software interface to run device controlling programs developed by electronics and communication engineers. It also gives great opportunities for research and development, as everyday consumers need new devices to support them in daily life.
The EC Engineering department of VICT offers four year engineering program approved by AICTE & affiliated to Gujarat Technological University, Ahmedabad. The course consists of 8 semesters .The progress of the student is monitored semester wise through mid-semester exam (internal) and one end semester exam conducted by the university. All the exams consist of testing theoretical knowledge as well as practical implementation.
Computing is the main driving force behind recent progress in science, health care, engineering, business, agriculture, and almost every other industry. By the time one graduates from the college’s computer engineering program, many manufactured items will have embedded mini-computers. In this high-tech era, computer technology encapsulates all spheres of human needs and aspirations. These changes will require more computing experts with a mastery of various aspects of computing.
Mechanical engineering is an innovative application of science and technology for the design, production and operation of mechanical devices, machinery and systems. Mechanical engineers excel at designing things, especially complex items like racing yachts, robots, sawmills and aero planes. Mechanical engineering also involves the efficient use of energy in processes such as a heating system for a hospital or a refrigeration plant for food exports.
Electrical engineering program addresses the high-technology needs of business and industry by offering a rich academic program that includes analog and digital integrated circuits, digital signal processing, radiation and propagation, power electronics, control systems, communications, circuit theory, computer architecture, computer-aided design, embedded systems, solid-state devices, micro electromechanical systems (MEMs), and robotics. Our nationally recognized program combines the rigor of theory with the reality of engineering practice.
Electrical and Electronics Engineering:
Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) covers the generation, storage and use of power. EEE is a very important part of our everyday life. The study of EEE can involve large amounts of power (e.g. power and control engineering) and large devices (e.g. power stations and electric vehicles) or small amounts of power (e.g. computer, communications and information engineering) and small devices (e.g. MP3 players and cell phones).
Civil engineering is a rewarding, hands-on, people-oriented profession. Civil engineers have a positive impact on the quality of people’s lives.

Automobile engineering deals with designing the vehicle, manufacturing new products, repairing and servicing vehicles. It is indeed a sub-branch of mechanical engineering and also known as automotive engineering or vehicle engineering. It involves studying motor systems, design, technology and many more. The rapid advancement in technology in recent years has ushered in a new era of hi-tech vehicles, making the business environment in the Indian auto industry very conducive. Your prospects as an automobile engineer will be favourable, as the sector is growing at a very fast pace. Automobile engineering field requires a lot of determination, dedication and hard work.
VICT offers the best infrastructure facilities to the students. The institute’s building has been architecturally and aesthetically laid out amidst a serene environment. The campus of the institute has been designed by the leading architects with landscape courtyard and blossomed gardens which add beauty to the atmosphere of the classrooms.
A library is the nerve centre of learning in the institute as it acts as the nucleus for the well-balanced collection of books, journals and periodicals in various fields of Engineering. It forms an extremely important part of the institute and hence special attention is given for its developmental growth. The library is committed to offer rapid response to meet the needs of a growing student and faculty community. The library is well equipped and stocked with books, journals and magazines relevant to engineering discipline.
The college has a well-equipped computer laboratory to cater to the requirements of the students. The laboratory is most modern and sophisticated with most up to date technology. It also provides competence to teacher trainees for techno-aided education program with emphasis on usage of latest techno devises.
VICT has large spacious class rooms that can accommodate between 50 to 70 students. A digital projector connected to the instructor’s system is also available in every classroom.
The seminar hall can accommodate approximately 150 – 200 students. The space is air conditioned and equipped with projector, sound system and internet connection, hence suitable for conducting any seminars/ workshops.
Our internet centre is open to the students as well as staff. A computing centre with 2 mbps internet connectivity is the immediate offering to the prompt students aware of the innovations in the field of communication and correspondence. The internet centre had set its wings open in the year 2009, which is needless to say, one of the resources for knowledge seeking students in the present technological world.
Cafeteria is the place where students wind up in groups and creative brilliance reflects. VICT’s cafeteria provides hygienic food as well as vibrant ambience.
Sports facilities are available for the physical development of the students. Special efforts are made to develop outdoor facilities in the campus as well in the hostel. Regular exercise enhances the sense of mental well-being along with the general physical health. The institute has facilities for indoor games like chess & carom as well as outdoor games like cricket, football, volleyball, badminton etc.
The college offers transportation facilities covering almost all the routes from Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar to the college campus.
To minimize the transportation problems, free shuttle van service is available for commuting from IFFCO highway to campus and from the nearest bus stop and vice versa.
